Alchemist has multitude of features and capabilities. This section explains how Alchemist is licensed, the various feature bundles available, and how to manage your license.
Features¶
The following list describes all high-level features and capabilities of Alchemist. See available licenses & bundles for more details on how these features are grouped into bundles.
- Parser: Source code/files parsing
- AST Explorer: AST exploration and pattern matching in UI
- Live Parser: Parsing of arbitrary code snippets from AST Explorer UI
- Analyzer: Static project analysis
- Analysis Dashboard: Aggregated project analysis dashboards in UI
- DDS Export: Exporting of an unencrypted analysis detailed data layer to parquet format
- Report Export: Exporting of detailed analysis reports to various formats
- Dashboard Export: Exporting of aggregated analysis dashboards to various formats
- Dependency Graph: Project dependency network visualization in UI
- Converter: Project conversion to other dialects
- Live Converter: Real-time conversion of code snippets from Code Viewer UI
Licenses & License Bundles¶
There are multiple license bundles available for Alchemist. Each bundle includes a set of features and capabilities. The following table lists all available license bundles and their features. If you are interested in purchasing a paid license, please request upgrade via the portal or send us an email

| Trial | A free basic license allowing to run analysis on unlimited source files and explore insights via the analysis dashboard in UI. It is also necessary to generate project report used to calculate licensing metrics for paid licenses. This is the default license available upon sign up. |
